The MCAH program works to improve the health and wellbeing of women, children, and families in Calaveras County. We provide support, resources, and services to help families thrive, from pregnancy through childhood and adolescence.
Home Visiting Program
Our Home Visiting Program offers support right in your home. Our trained staff offer a variety of services such as:
- Group connections and social opportunities
- Developmental screenings
- Parent education and guidance
- Parent-child activities
- Resource referrals
If you are interested in participating in the Calaveras County Public Health Home Visiting Program, please fill out the registration form.

Our program uses the Parents as Teachers model, supports parents in understanding their child's growth and development while promoting positive parenting behaviors. The program activities help families improve their health and financial well-being, prepare children for school success, and strengthen connections within the community.
