Child Health & Disability Program (CHDP) Information

The CHDP Program provides preventive health screenings for low-income and Medi-Cal eligible infants, children and youth in Calaveras County. Screenings are provided by local medical providers. Case management and follow-up care assistance is provided.

Eligibility for CHDP includes:

  • Family income at or below 250% of the Federal Poverty Level or
  • Children covered by Emergency Only Medi-Cal

There is no cost for children's preventive health screenings for CHDP eligible families.
